The objective was to create a tool that enabled quick iterations for distributing in-game items across the gameplay map. This tool incorporated all the items that were accessible in the initial launch of Apex Legends.
Via this project, I obtained several key insights:
Learning more about the complex rules controlling odds and randomness, essential for games like Apex Legends.
Deconstructing those odds and randomness rulesets into mathematical equations to be displayed in Excel.
Establishing an internal framework of color-coded rules to improve the readability of the Excel Sheet.
